After an invigorating overnight rain, today we woke up to birdsong with clouds climbing the hills against a backdrop of pastel blue skies.
Spring is taking its course, and it is pleasant to live in a place where all four seasons still alternate.
Temperatures today will not exceed 25 degrees, and as in the best of days imaginable in this season, the scent of freshly quenched flowers mingles with the smell of wet earth.
And while the elderly neighbour hoes his vegetable garden with movements cadenced by a lifetime of work, and the swallows begin their acrobatics brushing against the stone walls of the old houses of Vafkeri, I think how lucky I am to live another magical day in Paradise…
