Into the blu
Good morning Lefkadians&Meganisians.
Today we will have a beautiful sunny day.
The Tramontana is blowing strongly from the north and the Lefkadian sky is tinged with that dense, vivid blue that is only visible in the high mountains, or on the Ionian Islands in winter. A blue that highlights the flight of the birds that soar through the sky playing with the breath of Eolo.
Strange but true, the temperatures will not drop that much, at least at low altitude … on the Lefkada Mountains the discourse is different … but just a good stifado cooked on the wood stove in an old terracotta pot and a hot rakomelo to warm the soul.
