Good morning Lefkadians&Meganisians

A thin layer of ice is covering the ground this morning, light but enough to make you hear it crunch as you walk on it.

Cold air blowing in from the northern quadrants has brought temperatures close to zero, and on the mountains they have dropped even lower.

The grip of winter is closing in, ready to envelop the island as it slowly slips into hibernation.

Another cold day in Paradise…
